You + Me = WE

It seems like forever

that i have waited for you

in a world of disappointment

one thing is true

God has blessed me

and He has blessed you too

In a world of lonely people

I found you.

Take my hand

and hold me close

and don't let me go

you for me and me for you

together we'll make "We"

We were once strangers

all by ourselves

living, living alone

with no one else

but here we are

and it's so, so sweet

God must have done this

...made you for me

we were always sleeping

dreaming, dreaming some love

wondering where you are

how blessed I am

that I've found you

Now that you're here

I pray us to say " i do".

Matters of the Heart

If matters of the heart were easy to understand then all of the world would live in happiness. However they are not, and yet, even if they were do you think you would have the fortitude to see that which you love, that which makes you happy and hold on to it no matter what? Few ever do, for so many things stand in their way of doing so, the main object in their path being cowardness - the fear of finding that which makes you whole, the fear of actually being truly happy. In a world where so many other things can stand in ones way of happiness, how is it that we tend to be our own greatest obsticle and hinderence? What is it about ourselves that makes us so self-destructive? Why is it that when something comes along that has the potential to be the most wonderous thing in our lives we run the other way as fast and as far as our legs can carry us? Then we curse ourselves for letting the chance slip through our fingres? Just what is it that makes us question our own worth? Our own ability to cope with that which we desire above all else? In a life as brief and unpredictable as the one each of us live everyday why is it that we are unable, no matter how hard we try, to live each day to the fullest? To take that which is offered freely without hesitation and revel in the glory of it? Why are we unable to take that leap of faith that might forever change our lives for the better? If we were truly content with that which we have, would we still dream of other things to be desired? Would we dream at all...?

how to have a good and lasting relationship

so let's face it keeping up with a relationship is really hard and as they say it takes 2 to tango..but the question is do we really know how? This is the surest way in keeping us in LOVE!

  • Listen to your beloved.
  • Try to show tolerance and be open-minded. Avoid showing sarcasm and negativity. In general, anything that can cause you a bad mood or her bad mood should be avoided.
  • You should learn to give as well as to take - to give or take is not the answer, only a combination of the two in equal measure.
  • Try to make your partner's parents like you. It is very important for both of you.
  • Learn to give unconditionally. To expect always something in return is the same as paying for something.
  • Avoid being too emotional in your everyday life. It can be especially applied to males. You will have to convince your beloved that you are strong; that you are self-confident; that you know what to do; and that she can rely on your emotional strength to be a help for her.
  • Kindness, understanding, trust and consideration are the keywords in relationships. If you are only trying to derive benefit from these relationships, forget about mutual understanding.
  • In every relationship it is important to be a good and reliable friend. If you are your beloved's understanding friend, she/he will be grateful and rewarding.
  • Don't let anyone treat you abusively. Demand respect.
  • If your relationships are established, you should carry on showing your beloved that you love and appreciate him/her. It is not difficult. You can do this by little things as buying flowers and small presents from time to time.
  • Beware of possessiveness and claiming behavior. Keep in mind that your partner is as independent as you are and should never be treated as an object or possession.
  • Don't let other people push your buttons. Otherwise you won't be able to make any decision by yourself.
  • Learn to adjourn your recompense through patience, trust and understanding.
  • Try to see your partner's point of view. Agree to disagree.
  • Respect your partner's space.

10 Signs that He's not the 1!

Some people say they "just knew" that they were dating their future spouse. But what about the rest of us? What happens when you're not sure if he's The One? If you're considering long-term commitment or marriage, it's time to ask yourself some tough questions. Below, 10 signs that may indicate he's not for you.
1. You have a list of things he needs to stop doing/saying/wearing if he wants your relationship to work. If you're fixating on his flaws, he's either not the one you want or you're not ready for a serious relationship. Cutting him loose allows you time to grow and gives you the opportunity to meet a guy whose flaws you can embrace -- or at least accept.
2. You don't trust him. A small dose of jealousy can be healthy, but if you're hacking into his email account, and going berserk when he goes out without you, something's wrong. If there's something about him that truly warrants your distrust, then perhaps he's not the right one for you.
3. You avoid conflict at any cost. Fighting is healthy. And, when done right (in the non-accusatory, rational sort of way), it can be a great way to air grievances, fix problems in your relationship, and come to a deeper understanding of each other. Ignoring problems is not the same as having no problems at all... even if it looks that way.
4. When you're sad, you don't turn to him for comfort. When you're a giant ball of tears and snot, do you lock yourself into the bathroom so he can't see you at your worst? If you're worried about scaring him away, one of you isn't ready for total commitment. Mr. Right should make you smile through your tears and be a calming, not stressful, presence.
5. One of you is struggling with an addiction. He's sweet. He's exciting. He loves you very much. But he loves his alcohol habit or his weekly gambling fix more. Don't fool yourself into thinking that you can change him or that your relationship will be strong enough to withstand the heartache that addiction will inevitably bring. An addict may be able to change, but he'll do so on his own terms.
6. You can't really imagine him as the father of your children. Ask yourself: Would he make a great parent? Is he financially responsible? Would he be an equal partner in your future together? If you have doubts, he's probably not the one.
7. Your long-term, non-negotiable goals in life are incompatible. You want kids; he doesn't. You go to church every week; he's an atheist. He lives in the country and doesn't want to move; you can't imagine ever leaving the city. Superficial differences can be overcome, but differences in basic values are harder to smooth over. Ask yourself: "Would I be willing to compromise on this?" If the answer is absolutely not, you may not be right for each other.
8. You don't respect each other. He puts you down in front of your friends and complains about you to his parents. You roll your eyes when he talks because there's just something about him that embarrasses you. A relationship without respect can't sustain itself.
9. You're not attracted to him. Physical intimacy is a hugely important component of a romantic relationship. If he doesn't do it for you, he's probably not your best long-term match.
10. On paper he seems great, but you have this strange feeling... Don't ignore your gut. You may get along on a superficial level, but if your instincts are telling you he's not the one for you, listen. That little voice inside your head does not lie.

I HATE LOVE!!!

Have you ever been in love? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain.
I hate love.

Lost but not yet found: My HEART

Falling to someone like you maybe so
easy. You're kind, sweet as cherries,
and as beautiful as sunrise. Yes, i
fall from your charms and smiles from
your face. You're face lights up my
whole world. Your charms completed a
piece in my puzzle. BUT then You stole
my heart and left me hanging. i dont
know what to do coz i just let you
stole it and hoping that you'll return
her back. Days had passed and even
months, but my heart never returns. I
decided to find where you had hid it
but you refused to let me in. I was so
lost to find it. I was confident
before because I thought that when the
time you've stole it from me, i know
she'll come back quickly . But i
wasn't able to figure out where the
hell my heart is. You stubbed my
chest, dissect it and got my heart. i
don't know where you put it. im afraid
to ask. I'll be a like a fool if i'll
still continue this fantasy of finding
where my heart is. But please, if you
had junk it or put her somewhere
around your heart, or maybe you're
still holding it in your arms..,,
please.. return it to me.. let me have
my heart back.. let me be the one to
fix it... let me move on and let other
thief stole my heart. There were a lot
of them who had passed by, but they
never found my heart because my heart
is with you.

let me have it.. let me in and find
it...

incomplete

never say that someone completes you.

we have to feel whole when we are by ourselves., for needing a certain someone is not love but dependency.

wanting a person to become a part of your life is the best reason for having them, and you can only want when you know you have enough.

so rather than search for that someone who will complete you,
wait for the person who will compliment you completeness

Finding Happiness!

Are you putting off your happiness waiting for that certain something which is going to change your life?

I'll be happy as soon as I get that promotion at work. Once I get married, I know I'll be happy. If I could only get out of debt, then I'd be happy. If my husband would only pay more attention to me, I know I'd be happy.

Do these things sound familiar? Are you putting off your happiness waiting for that certain something which is going to change your life? Are you depending on someone else for your happiness? If so, you may be in for a long wait.

So often we buy into the fallacy that something or someone is going to come along and make us happy - a new job, more money, a better relationship, etc. And until that happens, we resign to being unhappy and unfulfilled. The fact of the matter is, if we aren't happy now, most probably, we never will be no matter what may come our way down the line.

Sure, we all want better things for ourselves. This is perfectly normal, and we should never stop trying to improve our lives and our relationships. However, we can't postpone our happiness waiting for these changes to be realized. We must find happiness now.

A big part of this is not depending upon others, our current circumstance, or material possessions to make us happy. We must take responsibility for our own happiness, and find it in our very existence and in how we live our lives. Happiness is nothing more than attitude and fulfillment. The old saying, "Either our glass is half full or half empty," is very true indeed. How we perceive our lives, who we are, and what we make of our current situations, has everything to do with our ultimate happiness and personal fulfillment.

If we continually look down the road for our happiness, we'll never find it, as with our every step forward, the horizon moves one step further away. Consequently, happiness and fulfillment may forever elude us. If our eyes are always fixed on the horizon, we'll most certainly miss what's right at our feet.

The simple fact is, happiness and fulfillment are within our grasp - right here, right now. Life is a journey, and we make it what it is - good or bad. For happiness and fulfillment doesn't come at the end of the journey, but rather, is found in the journey itself.

too much wondering!

I always wonder if there is really someone that’s

meant for each one of us. You would always hear

them say, someone is dreaming of you somewhere

out there, just as you are dreaming of this

person you are yet to meet. Well, personally I

don’t know if I should believe this. Umm, maybe

partly. I mean, not that I am holding on to this

thought. I can’t also say whether I’m a hopeless

romantic or what. But with the things that I used

to hear, and with the knowledge that I know about

it.. I just can’t tell. Laughs! I’m not really an

expert when it comes to matters of heart but my

friends would always say I’m like “Dyosa ng Love

Quotes and Payos”, Answering Machine, and all

that. They say I seem to know a lot from these

when I talk like I am saying, "been-there, done-

that" But on the contrary, no. Definitely no,

especially when talking to experiences. And hey,

did I mention that I belong to this federation

GBGID (Goodbye Girl I’m Done)? Haha! Believe it or

not but in my 29 years never did I feel how it is

to be really in love. Or shall I say to be really LOVED..

I mean, I don’t even know the

feeling coz I would always hesitate. When I’m

aware that I’m going to fall further I tend to

hold back. And I don’t know why.

It’s tough to pretend you don’t feel the stigma

of being single in a society that seems to

celebrate coupledom. All around you

the "marrieds" have their family-full lives and

constant companionship, and there you are— in

full Ally McBeal-ish spinster splendor.

On the other hand, I can’t deny the fact that

it’s good to be single. Nothing to worry about,

having your freedom and all, and just plainly

having the time of your life.

And by the way, I don’t see myself getting

married. Of course I believe in marriage but I

don’t think that’s my scene. Maybe it has

something to do with my being realistic. And

realization sometimes is right there in front of

you. To see those marriages turned into nothing,

the next thing you know you’re an urban legend.

But just in case I get to realize that I would

rather swallow it all and enter into something

with a lot of uncertainties at stake than to

forever live alone that’s more miserable, maybe,

just maybe, I would have to reconsider it.

According to Ally McBeal, never settle with

someone who you think is just the ONLY ONE and

not THE ONE. Marry someone who does make your

heart bounce. But what if you’re not lucky enough

like some people who get the chance to choose the

person they would want to spend the rest of their

lives with? What would you do when the time comes

you feel like having a family of your own

yet, "Dammit! He’s the only one out there who

wants to be with me" Would you rather take it or

hold on to the thought that some people are

really meant to be alone?

Anyway, I know I’m too young to think about it.

I’m not afraid tracking down by myself either.

But at least just to experience how it is to be

loved and in-love.. Whatever! All I can say is

whoever that f**king someone is, he should be

the one who would make or break me, and who

wouldn't just rock my bed but also my

WORLD!

Feel Like quitting?

Got a dream? Great!

Your life will be richer for it. However, sooner or later, I can guarantee there will come a day when you decide the results aren't shaping up quickly enough, or neatly enough, or clearly enough, and you entertain thoughts of quitting.

Most likely, this is your dark night of the soul. Things won't be going well and you'll question whether God really wanted you to do this work, or the idea just showed up like some mutant cell in the gene pool.

Here are steps to make sure your decision (presumably not to quit) is the right one.

1. Take a break. Take a weekend or a week off from your project to think about what you're doing. Often just some absence from the work, especially if you've been chipping away at it every day for a long time, is enlightening. You can gain just enough perspective to evaluate what's truly going on. You might even want to take time to ask yourself the questions at the end of this chapter. (See "Ten Hard Questions To Ask Yourself When You Feel Like Quitting.") Then, instead of acting rashly, you can act rationally.

2. Take a spiritual retreat. In the spirit of all the great religious seekers who ever wandered a desert, take a day, weekend, week, or even more time if you can, to tune in, spiritually. This could be a friend's weekend house by the beach (if you go, make sure you've got some time to get away by yourself), a yoga retreat, a nearby nature sanctuary or state park that permits camping, or even a monastery or spiritual sanctuary. By removing yourself from the hustle bustle of everyday life, and going into a contemplative quiet place, you can really make the deep, life-altering decisions such times demand. I urge you to choose a place that is not only nurturing and soothing to your spirit, but one that allows you plenty of space, time and quiet to sort out your thoughts. There is an excellent list of such places at the end of this chapter, as well as key questions to ask yourself while you are there. (See Chapter X, "When, How, and Why to Disappear for a While.")

3. Write down what's going on. Your journal could be your greatest ally in this process, if you make time to empty your brain of all those frightened, frustrated thoughts that are kicking around in there. There is nothing worse for the creative flow than 'brain jam', the condition where your thoughts become so intense that they clog up your ability to think rationally. Indeed, too much thinking can paralyze you from any kind of action, and so you miss the opportunity to move forward. Again, take a look at the list of questions that follow and answer them for yourself in writing.

4. Get support. Just like an AA member contemplating going on a bender, you need to call your 'sponsor' or greatest supporter and get help. This is precisely why you lined them up in the first place -- so when the chips are down, they can talk you on to the next victory. If you feel squeamish about appearing in front of them in your most bedraggled state, remember that you would want them to come to you if they needed help this badly.

5. List the pros and cons. If none of the above seem to work, sit down with a piece of paper and evaluate the pros and cons of quitting your endeavor. Be brutally honest with yourself, and make sure each list is complete. Don't leave a single pro or con unconsidered. Then walk away from your list. Take a look at it again in a few days, when you've had time for your thoughts to settle. Your perspective should be clearer and the answer obvious.

Try This … Ten Important Questions To Ask Yourself When You Feel Like Quitting

1. What have I learned from my work in the past?

2. What am I learning now?

3. Have I generally been a quitter in life?

4. What would I leave behind if I quit?

5. What will I never know about if I quit?

6. How will I feel about this at the end of my life?

7. What do I need to keep going?

8. What do I still need to learn?

9. How will I feel if I can achieve my goal

10. How will achieving my goal help other people?

Have you ever??

Have you ever felt like you knew someone a long, long time ago? Another place, another time, a friendship of the souls? Two people who share a bond for reasons neither know, A feeling that they were friends, a long, long time ago?Did they stumble onto each other by pure circumstance,Or was it fate and destiny that played a certain hand? Two souls intertwined, they are worlds apart,But the soul, it knows no difference, in matters of the heart. Somehow they are drawn together, fate has brought them back,Each living worlds apart, they journey separate paths. When this life is over, and a new life begins,Their souls will find each other, two souls that we call friends.

alone on Valentine's Day

Since it is mid January and Valentine's Day is fast approaching. I might write my thoughts about it now. Before I forget this rumble rumblings in my head. Being a 29 year old grown woman it is pretty unusual to see someone at my age to spend valentine's alone. Usually women my age got a boyfriend, a husband, a life partner or whatever you may want to call it. As for me I've got no one to spend it yet. I have no plans as of now. I am still hoping that cupid is just around the corner ready to struck my Mr. Right with his arrow. But even if cupid fails to show his presence I still will not contemplate because valentine's is just an ordinary day for me. People always think that in order to be happy we should associate ourselves with someone. Is it really the key to total happiness? I guess not. I maybe alone but I can assure you that I am not lonely. I still got my friends, my family and my niece and nephews. I still enjoy being myself and spending time with myself. I maybe introvert at times but it really takes an effort for me to get involve with someone especially in this day and age that women should be smart enough to choose their life partner or end up sorry at the end. I've been figuring out why I am not committed since my last relationship. I've been fishing my thoughts on rationales but this are the only reasons I got: 1. I am nowhere to be found but our home 2. I am nowhere to be found but home and 3. I am nowhere to be found but home.

Hmmn.. You might wonder what on earth I am doing at home? Where I could have gone somewhere and discovery new things in life. I've got plenty of reasons why I am home. Don't you worry I am not pregnant nor nursing a baby. LOL! I just stayed home because there is no place to go to but home.

Anyhow, if you yourself is alone on that day you can ask me out on dinner, just don't forget the flowers and the chocolates. LOL!

Attitude is everything!

ATTITUDE isn't simply a state of mind...it is also a reflection of what we value.

Attitude is more than just saying "I can", it is BELIEVING you can.

It requires believing before seeing, because seeing is based on circumstances; believing is based on faith.

Attitude is so contagious, especially when we allow it to turn our doubts of the past into passions of today and set the stage for our tomorrows.

We have total ownership of our attitude. No one else has the power to alter our attitudes without our permission.

Our attitude allows us to become more empowering than money, to rise above our failures, and accept others for who they are and what they say. It is more important than giftedness, and is the forerunner of all skills needed for happiness and success.

Our attitudes can be used to build us up or put us down -- THE CHOICE IS OURS.

It also gives us the wisdom to know that we cannot change events of the past.

I AM CONVINCED THAT LIFE IS 10% WHAT HAPPENS TO ME, AND 90% HOW I RESPOND TO IT...

And it is with this state of mind that I REMAIN IN CHARGE OF MY ATTITUDE.

ME!

It's not so easy loving me
It gets so complicated
All the things you've gotta be
Everything's changin
But you're the truth
I'm amazed by all your patience
Everything I put you through

When I'm about to fall
Somehow you're always waitin
with your open arms to catch me
You're gonna save me from myself
from myself, yes
You're gonna save me from myself

My love is tainted by your touch
Cuz some guys have shown me aces
But you've got that royal flush
I know it's crazy everyday
Well tomorrow may be shaky
But you never turn away

Don't ask me why I'm cryin
Cuz when I start to crumble
You know how to keep me smilin
You always save me from myself
from myself, myself
You're gonna save me from myself

I know it's hard, it's hard
But you've broken all my walls
You've been my strength, so strong
And don't ask me why I love you
It's obvious your tenderness
Is what I need to make me
a better woman to myself
to myself, myself
You're gonna save me from myself!
