Sports drink lover

Hi everyone.  How's your day?  I hope you're all doing fine.  Well today I might talk about sports drinks and its benefits in our body.  As you all know the weather here where I am located is very hot its like living in a microwave oven.. No kidding.
That's why I prefer drinking sports drinks over sodas.  Why because sports drinks has many good benefits in our body its not just quench the thirst but replenish the fluids , and also replenish the lost electrolytes and minerals that came out of our body when we perspire.  We should remember that electrolytes can help our body absorb fluids into our blood faster, which can help keep us hydrated that''s why gym enthusiast and athletes as we all see them always have a sports drinks in hand during their practice or their actual game because sports drinks boost their stamina and energy thus giving them extra edge and they can perform well.  As we all know when we exercise, we are into sports or any strenuous activities or even if we are just driving or walking during hot season we sweat. This means our body is losing water. In fact, we can lose up to quart of water when we exercise for an hour, if the intensity is high. Sports drinks are one way in which we can get back some of this water we lost and keep ourselves from becoming dehydrated.
It is always recommended that you drink 4 to 8 ounces of water along with sports drinks because it assists in the replacement of glycogen better than using the drinks by themselves. These drinks speed up the recovery process after exercising and help you to perform better. They also assist repairing any damage you may do to your muscles during exercise or sports activities.  But you have to know that these sports drinks aren't for people who wish to loose weight because mostly they contain sugar.

Hey did I mention that there are actually types of sports drinks in the market? I remember they were 3 the Isotonic, Hypertonic and Hypotonic.  Hypotonic sports drinks are those sports drinks that contain less than 8% concentration of minerals and carbohydrates while hypertonic sports drinks are defined by a mineral and carbohydrate concentration that is greater than 8%.
